Bushcraft (for 8-13s)
Tuesday 17th December
Come and join us for a true adventure day learning ancient bushcraft skills such as fire lighting, animal tracking, foraging, shelter building and wilderness cooking. The perfect opportunity to go wild in a safe and fun environment and enjoy some great woodland games. You will love the outdoors after this experience.

Christmas Creations (for 8-13s)
Wednesday 18th December
Spend the day getting ‘crafty’ making Christmas decorations. Children will make 4 different festive creations including bobble hats, puddings, star garlands and everyone's favourite - sprouts! Crafted from a mixture of pompoms and felt shapes they will have a variety of embellishments on hand to make their crafts unique such as wobbly eyes, sequins, ribbons and glitter.

Climb Aboard (for 8-13s)
Thursday 2nd January
An adrenaline pumping course under professional instruction that kicks off with a session of indoor climbing at Redpoint Climbing Centre. The afternoon session provides a great opportunity to learn the basic skills and techniques of kayaking in the safety and comfort of our 25m indoor swimming pool. Everything is designed to improve ability and confidence. Children must have at least average (40m+) swimming ability for this course. Please note the earlier registration to allow for travelling time.

Hockey 4 All (for 8-13's)
Friday 3rd January
This course is suitable for ambitious new and developing players. Whether you are new to hockey, or want to develop and improve existing skills, this is the course for you! Delivered by experienced and knowledeable coaches, they will ensure you go away having been stretched, challenged and inspired, but most importantly made sure you have FUN! Players will take part in "skills of the day" challenges, mini games and an afternoon festival.

Juniors Holiday Club (for 5-7s)
Juniors Holiday Club activities are designed specifically with 5 to 7 year-olds in mind. Swimming is an important and enjoyable part of each daily programme for the 6 and 7 year-olds. The 5-year-olds have their own ‘Fantastic 5s’ activity programme whilst the older children swim and along with other activities, all led by experienced staff, the emphasis is on promoting individual development and, of course, fun. We believe it is important that children are able to pursue interests and develop skills through a range of activities and opportunities.

Kids' Club (for 8-13s)
The typical Kids’ Club day includes a wide variety of activities that 8–13s enjoy. A freetime Swimming session is a very popular part of each day's activities. The other three main daily activity sessions are designed with varying interest and ability groups in mind and children can choose from a number of themed afternoon activities that take place both indoor and outdoor around Clifton College Sports Centre. Throughout our programme we promote self expression, confidence building and, of course, fun by offering as much choice as possible.

Kids' Club ACTIVE (for 8-13s)
Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th January
We are unable to run Kids’ Club on the main site 6th and 7th January but can instead offer a slightly different provision at our Abbots Leigh Sports Ground, Abbots Leigh Road, BS8 3QD. Please note that only a limited Early and Late Stay service is available at this site. The afternoon sessions will be based at our Outdoor Activity Centre and children will have a chance to have a go at various outdoor activities. Please note there will be will be no swimming pool sessions but a natural emphasis on inclusive games and physical activities for all children as we will have limited options for some of the more creative sessions that we usually offer. Children can be dropped off from 0830 and must be collected by 1730. There will be no Holiday Club service on the main Clifton College site this week.

LED Keyring Making Workshop
Friday 3rd January
Get creative with ideas to make your own keyring torch - will it be a heart, emoji, rocket, cat? The possibilities are endless. Children will work with sheet plastic and neoprene foam to create their designs. They will then add an LED circuit so that it will light up.

Minis Festive Forest Fun (for 3-4s)
Thursday 19th December
Spend a morning in our enchanted woodland. Forage for natural resources to create Christmas crafts including the use of woodworking tools under the direct supervision of our qualified Forest School leader. The morning will finish with a drink of hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows around the campfire before heading back to Minis Holiday Club for lunch.
Please note that children will travel by Clifton College minibus with qualified staff. Children will require outdoor clothes, wet weather gear and a change of footwear.

This two day course (please note dates are split) will set you up with the paints and equipment so that you can create your own pottery masterpiece! You will get lots of advice and encouragement with plenty of examples of pottery and techniques to help inspire.
